OUR WORKSHOP
BOARD MEMBER
ONBOARDING WORKSHOP
A 2-hour workshop to help new board members of listed or unlisted companies learn how to deploy their formal and informal skills within the company, so that they can fully exercise their role in the best interests of the Company.
Context
After 35 years of providing support on governance issues, we have come to realize that:
> Increasing attention is being paid to the skills and ability of directors to contribute effectively to value creation of the Company.
> In the absence of specific written rules, good practice in the on-boarding of board members is the fruit of experience and a detailed analysis of what constitutes the best interests of the company.
This is why we are offering a session for board members wishing to anticipate the challenges and dynamics of on-boarding.
This practical workshop is based on the transmission of the rules and regulations as well as the various governance codes, as well as the sharing of experience. Time will be set aside for discussion to answer any questions you may have.
Programme
The following topics will be covered:
> Preparing for your admission to make it easier to carry out your duties
> Deploying your formal and informal skills to take your place on the board
> Being part of a group and contributing to the optimal functioning of the board
> Understanding the implicit rules of the game on Boards of directors.
